Michael Joseph Starks, a 29-year-old resident of Bloomfield, Connecticut, but originally from Hartford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the afternoon around 12:15 p.m. in the area of 220 Capen Street in Hartford. The Hartford Police Department was alerted by the ShotSpotter system, and upon arrival, officers found Starks, who was subsequently taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
