On the evening of December 12, 2024, a personal dispute in Hartford, Connecticut, escalated to a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 30-year-old Alexis Colon, a Hispanic male. The incident unfolded at approximately 9:10 p.m. in the 700 block of New Britain Avenue, a short distance from Colon's home. Hartford police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter alert and multiple calls reporting gunfire.
