In the early hours of a Monday morning, on September 27, 2021, the life of 16-year-old Wildemar Santiago was tragically cut short on Martin Street in Hartford, Connecticut. A freshman at Weaver High School, the young man was attending a memorial for a friend who had been slain on the very same street just a month prior. It was there, on the sidewalk, that he was fatally shot. Police believe the shooter was in a passing car.
