In the late hours of a Friday night in Hartford, Connecticut, tragedy struck for 39-year-old Joshua Ortega. On November 22, 2024, at approximately 11:42 p.m., the male victim was in the area of the 100 block of Seymour Street when he became the target of a drive-by shooting. The sudden violence left Ortega with a gunshot wound and unresponsive at the scene.
