On a late summer evening in Hartford, Connecticut, the life of 28-year-old Joshua Steele, a Black / African American male, was brought to a tragic and abrupt end. The date was September 2, 2018, and Joshua was at a house party on Hillside Avenue, a gathering bustling with more than 100 people.
