In the early hours of Sunday, August 6, 2023, the life of 27-year-old Hakeem Dickson, a Black male from Hartford, Connecticut, was tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire. The incident unfolded around 3 a.m. on Sterling Street, a neighborhood just off Albany Avenue, where Dickson and another man, 23-year-old William Tisdol, were ambushed on a porch.
