On February 22, 2022, Leon Kelly Sr., a 46-year-old resident of Hartford, Connecticut, was fatally shot in his home on Westminster Street. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m., when officers responded to a report of two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, they discovered Leon Kelly and his 47-year-old brother, Charles Kelly, both with multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to St. Francis Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
