On May 10, 2022, at approximately 11:45 a.m., 59-year-old Guillermo Gonzalez was fatally shot in Hartford, Connecticut. Gonzalez had stepped outside his home on Zion Street to purchase a hot dog from a nearby bodega when he was struck by gunfire. His wife, Zenaida Figueroa, was present at the scene and witnessed the tragic event. Despite his survival through previous health challenges, including COVID-19 and two strokes, Gonzalez's life was abruptly taken in this senseless act of violence.
