A man who was shot during a confrontation with a group of people trying to enter a Phoenix house party that was breaking up died Sunday, according to authorities.

Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Phoenix police officers were called to a home in the area of 9000 West Sells Drive in response to a shooting.
