Nancy Wilcox, a 16-year-old cheerleader from Holladay, Utah, went missing on October 2, 1974. She was last seen leaving her home to purchase a pack of gum, and witnesses reported seeing her riding in a yellow Volkswagen Bug near her residence. Initially, authorities believed Nancy may have run away, as no immediate signs of foul play were discovered. However, as more young women began to vanish in Utah around the same time, investigators began to suspect something far more sinister.
