Kiplyn Davis, a 15-year-old sophomore at Spanish Fork High School, disappeared on May 2, 1995, after attending her morning classes. She was last seen at lunchtime, but did not show up for her afternoon classes, and she never returned home that day. All of her personal belongings, including her purse and makeup, were left in her school locker, leading to immediate concerns about her safety.
Despite initial assumptions that she might have run away following an argument with her parents, her family was convinced that something more serious had happened.
Weeks later, authorities began to treat her disappearance as foul play. Over the years, several of Kiplyn's high school classmates were implicated in the case for lying to authorities and covering up what was believed to be her murder. Timmy Brent Olsen eventually pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 2011, claiming to have helped dispose of Kiplyn's body but never revealing its location. Several other individuals were convicted of perjury related to the case, but no one has provided concrete information about where her remains might be found.
