On June 25, 2018, a tragic incident occurred in south Phoenix, resulting in the deaths of two men, including 35-year-old Ricky Elam Jr. The incident involved a shooting at a residence in the area. Ricky Elam Jr. and his friend, 28-year-old Ja'Cory Ranger, were the victims of this violent act.
