In a tragic incident on the afternoon of May 24, 2025, 27-year-old Michael Tusa, a male, was fatally shot in north Phoenix. The shooting occurred around 3:23 p.m. in the area of 22nd Avenue and Thunderbird Road. First responders discovered Tusa under the Thunderbird Road underpass with at least one gunshot wound.
