In a tragic incident on the afternoon of May 24, 2025, 27-year-old Michael Tusa, a male, was fatally shot in north Phoenix. The shooting occurred around 3:23 p.m. in the area of 22nd Avenue and Thunderbird Road. First responders discovered Tusa under the Thunderbird Road underpass with at least one gunshot wound.

Another adult male was also found at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. While Tusa was pronounced deceased, the second victim was transported to a local hospital in critic ...
