In the early morning hours of May 25, 2025, a violent encounter at a north Phoenix apartment complex left one man dead and two others wounded. The deceased was identified as Adrian Andrade, a 33-year-old Black male. The incident, which unfolded around 3:30 a.m. near 17th Avenue and Bell Road, prompted a swift response from the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene with three adult men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical aid was rendered at the scene, but tragically, Adrian Andrade succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The two other victims were transported to a local hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and immediately began their investigation into the fatal shooting.
