On September 6, 2021, around 8:00 p.m., Phoenix Police Officers responded to a call of a shooting at an apartment complex near 1900 North 26th Place in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arrival, they found 24-year-old Arturo Enriquez Marmolejo with a gunshot wound near one of the apartments. Marmolejo was transported to the hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
