In the early morning hours of April 3, 2015, the body of 35-year-old Wyatt Robert Cardany, a Caucasian male, was discovered in the backyard of a Phoenix, Arizona, residence. Cardany, who had been staying at the home, was found next to a car by another resident shortly before 3:30 a.m.
Police were immediately called to the scene, located in the area of 15th Avenue and Union Hills Drive. Investigators quickly determined that Cardany was the victim of a homicide.
It was later revealed that he had been stabbed to death, with clear signs of trauma on his body.
During the initial investigation, two individuals at the home were interviewed by police, but they were subsequently released. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with Cardany's murder, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The case has since become a cold case, leaving his family and loved ones without answers.
Described as a man with a huge heart and a great deal of compassion, Cardany was reportedly studying to become a welder at the time of his death. His passing was a profound loss to his surviving family members, including his mother, brother, and niece.
