Erasmo Gonzales, a 24-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, lost his life to gun violence on May 2, 2015. The incident occurred in what authorities described as an apparent domestic-violence incident.

Gonzales was shot and killed by his girlfriend early Sunday morning. The police investigation led to the arrest of Marylin Rivera Alvarez, who was accused of fatally shooting her boyfriend.
