On March 21, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at a home near 16th Street and South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 6-year-old Jacob De Zeeuw Jr.

Jacob De Zeeuw Jr. was the son of 27-year-old Jacob De Zeeuw and 37-year-old Sarah Scott. According to the investigation, Jacob De Zeeuw Sr. allegedly shot and killed Sarah Scott, who was four months pregnant at the time, and then shot and killed his 6-year-old son, Jacob De Zeeuw Jr.
