In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 14, 2023, a party in a South Phoenix neighborhood turned deadly, claiming the life of 31-year-old Edgar Ernesto Peralta. The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at a residence on the 1500 block of East Ardmore Road, where Peralta was in attendance.
