In the crisp autumn air of a Phoenix evening, the life of 18-year-old Manuel Alejandro Covarrubias Olivarria, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On November 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire erupted near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road, forever altering the lives of three teenagers.
