In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona, a domestic scene turned tragic, leaving one brother dead and the other facing serious charges. On November 12, 2022, 33-year-old Thomas Jackson was fatally shot in an apartment located in the area of 13602 North 44th Street.
Phoenix police officers responded to a shooting call just before 4:30 a.m. and discovered Thomas Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His older brother, Dominique Jackson, was present and was taken into custody for questioning.
According to the investigation, Dominique Jackson had been handling a gun when it discharged, striking his brother. While the shooting was described as unintentional, authorities arrested Dominique and booked him on a manslaughter charge. Reports suggest that the two brothers may have been consuming alcohol and using drugs at the time of the incident.
