Tyrone Braswell, a 36-year-old resident of Oakland, California, was tragically shot and killed on March 29, 2012, in the early morning hours. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of 26th Avenue in East Oakland. Braswell's death remained a mystery for several years as initial investigations failed to produce leads, turning the case cold. However, in 2018, the case saw new developments when Jonathan Weems, an ex-felon, was identified as the shooter based on witness testimonies.
