In the evening hours of February 13, 2022, a call to 911 reporting shots fired brought Phoenix police officers to a residence in the area of 6200 South 11th Avenue. Inside the home, they discovered 41-year-old Jon Scarano, a male, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any medical attention he may have received, Mr. Scarano succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
