On February 13, 2022, around 8:30 p.m., Phoenix Police were called to the area of 6200 South 11th Avenue due to reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers found Jon Scarano, a 41-year-old man, inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Scarano died from his injuries at the scene.
