On December 27, 2020, a fatal shooting occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Phoenix area. The incident took place near the intersection of 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Tolleson, Arizona. Jose Morales Roman, a 55-year-old man, was found by officers responding to reports of a shooting around 1:17 a.m.

Upon arrival, police located Jose Morales Roman with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
