Maurice Jamal Edwards, a 35-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1988, in Gary, Indiana.

Edwards was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in West Phoenix. According to reports, officers responded to the scene and found Edwards suffering from a gunshot wound. He was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
