On October 20, 2021, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Phoenix Police responded to a shooting call in the area of 67th Avenue and Campbell Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim, later identified as 31-year-old Alfonso Holguin, outside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced deceased.
