An afternoon in central Phoenix turned fatal on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, when Anthony Garrison, a 44-year-old male, was shot and killed. Phoenix police were called to a hotel in the vicinity of 24th and Van Buren streets around 2:45 p.m. regarding an injured person. Upon their arrival, they discovered Garrison suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
