On March 20, 2023, 20-year-old Osvaldo Hernandez Castillo was found dead in his vehicle near the area of 24th Avenue and Mission Lane in Phoenix, Arizona. Police responded to an emergency radio call of unknown trouble and found Castillo seated in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to his head. He was declared dead at the scene. A postmortem examination revealed that Castillo had suffered gunshot wounds to the back of his head and his back, indicating he was shot from behind.
