In the early morning hours of Thursday, February 2, 2012, a grim discovery was made in Phoenix, Arizona. The body of a male, identified as Alton Eugene Oakland Jr., was found inside a dumpster located at 4802 N. 15th Avenue. The case was quickly determined by detectives to be a homicide.
Investigators released a description of Oakland's distinct tattoos in the hopes of gathering more information from the public. These included a dragon on the right side of his chest, a hog on his right upper arm, and a double-headed snake on the right side of his back.
