On December 8, 2022, Eduardo Uzueta, a 28-year-old man from Phoenix, Arizona, was fatally shot while out with his family to view Christmas lights in a local neighborhood. Uzueta and his girlfriend had taken their two children on this outing when the incident occurred. According to the Phoenix Police Department, Uzueta had parked his car in the 6600 block of West Fillmore Street to step out and smoke. During this time, a group of men approached him, leading to an altercation.
