In the Sunnyslope neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona, the night of June 3, 2022, turned tragic for 15-year-old Damarkus Edison, a White / Caucasian male. Shortly before midnight, the teenage boy had just stepped outside of his home near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Vogel Avenue when he was struck by gunfire.
