On June 3, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in the Sunnyslope neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Damarkus Edison. The Phoenix Police Department responded to a shooting call near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Vogel Avenue at approximately 11:52 PM.
