On August 24, 2024, a deadly shooting occurred in the early morning hours in south Phoenix, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Jeremy Carra. The incident took place around 3:00 a.m. in the area of 19th Avenue, south of Dobbins Road. Phoenix police responded to the scene and found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds.
