In the early morning hours of August 24, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a south Phoenix neighborhood, forever altering the lives of three people. Thirty-year-old Jeremy Carra, a Hispanic male and a member of the Ak-Chin Community, was caught in the violence that erupted near 19th Avenue and Dobbins Road. When Phoenix police officers responded to the call around 3:00 a.m., they discovered a grim scene with three adults suffering from gunshot wounds.
