On June 24, 2019, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Phoenix police discovered two men with critical gunshot wounds near 17th Avenue and Mountain View Road. The victims, identified as 24-year-old Gabriel Chacon and 18-year-old David Romero, were pronounced dead at the scene.
