On the evening of Friday, May 18, 2012, Manuel “Isaac” Alvarado, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot in his home at 4430 East Wood Street in Phoenix. The incident occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. when two men came to his condominium near 40th Street and Broadway Road. Shortly after the men entered the residence, a struggle ensued over a handgun belonging to Alvarado, which was in plain view in the living room.
