In a south Phoenix neighborhood, a disagreement over a truck took a fatal turn, leading to the death of 55-year-old Martin Tapia. On the afternoon of October 31, 2023, police responded to a call near 18th and Raymond streets, where they discovered Tapia on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
