On a warm evening in Phoenix on June 25, 2020, 18-year-old Josiah Brisco was at his home near 104th Avenue and Broadway Road. Around 9:00 p.m., a knock came at the door. After Brisco answered, a conversation was overheard, which was followed by the sound of a gunshot.
