In the early morning hours of April 25, 2023, tragedy struck in Phoenix, Arizona, when 20-year-old David Perez, a Hispanic male, was shot and killed. The incident occurred near 2500 West Maryland Avenue, where police responded to a shooting call just after 6:00 a.m.. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Perez suffering from a gunshot wound.
