In the afternoon hours of a late February day in Phoenix, Arizona, a sense of normalcy was shattered by an act of sudden violence. On February 23, 2022, Sergio Chalpeno, a 34-year-old male, was inside a residence near 19th Avenue and Joan de Arc Avenue when an unknown individual forcibly entered the home.
