On a Friday afternoon in Phoenix, what began as a routine day was shattered by gunfire. On January 2, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police were called to a strip mall located in the vicinity of 19th Avenue and Bell Road following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two men who had each sustained at least one gunshot wound. Both individuals were urgently transported to local hospitals for medical attention.
