In the early morning hours of Friday, December 15, 2017, the life of 22-year-old Juan Herrera was tragically cut short in a burst of violence in Phoenix, Arizona. Residents in the vicinity of the 6900 block of West Virginia Avenue were startled by the sound of gunshots at approximately 6:25 a.m. and promptly alerted the authorities.
