In the early morning hours of August 22, 2020, a life was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. Elijah Terrell McCarthy, a 19-year-old male, was attending a party at a hotel near the Arizona State University campus. Around 3:45 a.m., he stepped outside to meet with an individual whose identity remains unknown. It was in this moment that the night took a fatal turn.
