Diego Martinez, a 30-year-old man, lost his life to gun violence on August 21, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident occurred during a burglary at an apartment.

According to the police investigation, a 14-year-old boy was involved in the burglary and subsequently shot Martinez. When police and paramedics arrived at the scene, Martinez was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the emergency responders, Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.
