On January 26, 2019, a tragic shooting incident occurred in south Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Brian Ruiz. The incident happened around 7:05 p.m. near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Broadway Road. According to police reports, the suspect fired multiple shots from a vehicle at a group of people standing in front of a residence before fleeing the scene.
