In the early morning hours of March 27, 2016, a house party on the west side of Phoenix took a tragic turn, ending the life of 16-year-old Jesse Abrego. The male teenager was attending a gathering near Thomas Road and 43rd Avenue when violence erupted. Phoenix police were initially called to the residence around 3:20 a.m. for a loud party complaint.
