He spent his formative years in Dilkon, Arizona, and attended Winslow Jr. High School before graduating from Holbrook High School in 2016. During his high school years, he was a dedicated member of the Roadrunners basketball team for four seasons. He was preceded in death by his son, Miinzadah-Michael Hosteen Begaii. While one report states his death occurred on March 12, 2019, his obituary confirms his passing on March 16, 2019.
