In the afternoon brightness of Monday, December 7, 2020, a burst of violence shattered the calm near the Interstate 17 and McLellan Boulevard in Phoenix, Arizona. Seventeen-year-old Tylek McGee, a male, found himself in the path of gunfire. When police officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 1:30 p.m., they discovered the young man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
