In the early morning hours of February 20, 2022, a verbal altercation at a Phoenix, Arizona apartment complex near Indian School Road and the Black Canyon Highway took a fatal turn. During the dispute with an unknown individual, 33-year-old Britten Singleton, a Black/African American male, was shot. Despite his injuries, Singleton managed to flee the scene.
