On June 29, 2014, a fatal altercation occurred outside a party in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Luis Gaona. The incident began when Antonio Torres-Pena, 19, and his friend were leaving a party located near 3330 N. 76th Ave. around 1:30 a.m. They found their path blocked by a stopped car, which was causing vehicles to back up behind them.
