On the evening of July 1, 2019, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Phoenix police officers responded to a shooting incident in a parking lot near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Keith Zerbell Johnson in extremely critical condition from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
