In the late morning hours of September 4, 2015, a tragedy unfolded in a Phoenix, Arizona parking garage that claimed the life of 68-year-old Andre William Ahern. Ahern, a White/Caucasian male, was the owner of Ahern & Associates, a transportation consulting company. He had moved to Phoenix from Chicago in 1988, where he established his business and raised his family.
